I worked at Dorothy Goodman School for four years across both the primary and secondary sites. During this time, I independently learned Makaton to enhance my ability to communicate effectively with non-verbal children, a skill I continue to use today. The role provided varied daily interactions and was consistently rewarding.
I have now been with Heroic Care for nearly four years as an HR Manager. This position has given me the privilege of witnessing the young people we support grow into independent and fulfilled young adults. In my HR role, I provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities to staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in their roles and deliver the highest standard of care.
