My journey into the care sector has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to advocacy and empowerment. Growing up, I witnessed first-hand the achievements of my eldest brother, who lived with physical and learning disabilities. Acting as his advocate during his transition into residential care highlighted the vital importance of person-centred planning and collaborative support. Seeing him exceed expectations — thriving into his late fifties and finding purpose through meaningful community integration — inspired my determination to ensure every individual has the opportunity to achieve their full potential and find their place in society.
Following a successful management career, supported by a qualification in Business Studies, I joined Heroic Care in 2020 with the clear intention of making a meaningful difference. I progressed quickly within the organisation, supporting complex transitions for young adults with profound needs, and moving into roles including House Manager and Supported Living Manager.
Today, as Quality Assurance Manager, I bring together my commercial leadership experience and specialist care knowledge, strengthened by my NVQ in Adult Health and Social Care. My focus is on maintaining high standards of CQC compliance, promoting the wellbeing of both staff and the individuals we support, and driving continuous professional development across services.
My approach is grounded in empathy, resilience, and respect. I am proud to be part of a team dedicated to empowering individuals to transform their lives and achieve milestones that others may consider beyond reach.
