Over the past 20 years, I have progressed through a variety of roles including Support Worker, Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, and Manager. I have also held specialist management positions in HR and others including Quality Assurance/ PCP/Support Plan Manager, which have given me a broad and in-depth understanding of both frontline care and operational leadership.
I am passionate about continuous professional development and have completed extensive mandatory training throughout my career. My qualifications include:
• Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care
• Level 2 Award in Team Leading
• NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Management
• Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health
• Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
• Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour That Challenges
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care
In my current role as Company PA, Rota Co-ordinator and Mandatory Training Manager, I use my experience and organisational skills to support both staff and management, ensuring compliance, smooth operations, and high standards of training and workforce development.
Outside of work, I am a full time mum of 2. I volunteer as a Girls’ Brigade leader, reflecting my commitment to supporting and empowering young people within the community. I am also a very passionate Nottingham Forest season ticket holder and travel many miles following them, proudly supporting my team wherever they play.
