I began my career in care at the age of 16, working as a Care Assistant supporting elderly individuals. During this time, I developed a strong foundation in compassionate, person-centred care and progressed to the role of Team Leader, while also completing my Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.
In 2014, I moved into a role within an Acquired Brain Injury unit, where I worked for seven years as a Team Coordinator at a management level. This role allowed me to further develop my leadership and clinical knowledge while supporting individuals with complex neurological needs. During this time, I achieved my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, alongside additional training related to leadership, team management, and specialist care practices.
In 2021, I joined Heroic Care, where I have continued to build on my experience within the sector. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in areas including medication management, leading and mentoring large staff teams, conducting healthcare reviews, working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, and supporting the completion of funding reviews to ensure individuals receive the appropriate level of care and support.
