I began my career in care at the age of 21 as a Support Worker. Through dedication, commitment, and a strong work ethic, I progressed quickly — becoming a Senior Support Worker and a Team Leader by age 23. At 26, I was promoted to Manager, where I led a small staff team and developed my leadership and operational management skills.
Over the years, I continued to progress within supported living services, advancing to Supported Living Manager and later Senior Supported Living Manager. I now oversee five supported living locations, managing the staff teams across these services and working closely with external professionals and families to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
I bring 23 years of experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and behaviours of concern. Throughout my career, I have successfully led and developed staff teams, providing training, guidance, and clear leadership to ensure that care delivery remains person-centred and tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs.
I have extensive experience liaising with parents, families, and multidisciplinary professionals, recognising the importance of strong communication and collaborative working in achieving consistent, positive outcomes. I remain passionate about supporting both the individuals in our care and the teams who deliver that care, ensuring services are compassionate, structured, and outcome-focused.
